At the Van Halen Store, we offer the world's largest variety of Official Van Halen merchandise ­ over 150 different items and growing! Through this site, in addition to ordering merchandise, Van Halen fans can also subscribe to The Inside magazine and order The Inside back issues.

How to Shop
Ordering from the Van Halen Store is fast and secure. We offer a number of payment options, such as payment by check or money order, or saving your shopping cart for future checkout with a credit card.

Browsing & Searching
For your convenience, we've organized every item in our store into familiar categories: Apparel, Posters, Accessories, etc... Note that some of our items are also shown in other categories: Best Sellers and New Items. And, of course, we're always open on the Internet 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

To get started, select a category by simply clicking on the button of your choice. Browse through the items you see. If you want more information about any item, simply click on the item's picture and you will find additional information and a larger picture for your inspection.

You can also search the entire store by text only. When you see an item that interests you, simply click on the item and you'll be taken to the product description page. You may purchase the item from this page.

Using your Shopping Cart
*To purchase: When you find an item you want, select the item, size and format if applicable, and click on the "Add To Basket" button. Your choice will automatically go into your shopping basket, and you'll be taken to the "View Basket" page. Click on "Continue Shopping" to go back to the main page or click "Checkout" if you're done adding items to your cart and want to make your purchase. To view the contents of your Shopping Basket at any time, click "Shopping Basket" button on the navigation bar.

*To change a quantity: If you would like to change the quantity in your Shopping Basket, simply change to the desired quantity and press the "Update" button.

*To remove an item: At any time, you can empty your shopping basket or take an item out. To remove an item, just click on "Remove" and the page will be automatically refreshed and your subtotals updated.

*Checkout: When you have everything you want, click on the "Secure Checkout" button and you'll be ready to proceed to our secure area and complete your order.

For Domestic orders, we can ship by US Postal 1st Class or Priority Mail or via Fed Ex Overnight Service. International orders are shipped by US Postal International Airmail. For additional info, please see our Shipping Options below.

Payment Options
How to place your order with The Van Halen Store:

1) Order Securely Online using your credit card. (Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Discover). Your credit card information is safe with us! It is encrypted then transmitted and stored in a secure database. All prices are listed and charged in U.S. Dollars. (International customers note that when paying by credit card, your credit card company will calculate the exchange rate and include it in your monthly statement).

2) Call in your order using your credit card at (480) 655 9300 9AM to 6:30PM Monday through Friday.

3) Fax your printed order form to (480) 655 9400.

4) Mail your printed order form to:

Please include your check or money order in U.S. funds, made payable to Van Halen Store. All personal checks will be held two weeks. (Foreign customers note: We do not accept international checks. We will accept international money orders provided they are denominated in U.S. dollars)

All in stock items are shipped within 1-5 business days of receipt of your cleared payment. (Except for Overnight orders, which are always shipped on the next business day after we receive the order).

Orders paid by checks:
Personal checks may be held up to 2 weeks to clear.

Backorders:
In the rare case of a backorder, we will hold your entire order if the back ordered items will be in stock shortly, otherwise, we will mail the in stock items immediately and send the back order item(s) as soon as they are in stock, at our postage expense.

Overnight Orders:
All Overnight orders are sent via Fed Ex on the next business day after we receive your order. If you have your own Fed Ex account, you can supply us with the account number and we will have Fed Ex bill you for shipping instead of adding the cost of shipping to your order. Note that Overnight orders that include posters must add an additional $20 to the Overnight Charge.

Posters:
Posters are always mailed separately in a tube and are never folded. Although they are mailed the same day as any other items in your order, they might arrive a day or two before or after the other items.

APO/FPO addresses, P.O. Boxes, and U.S. protectorate addresses:
Standard shipping for APO/FPO addresses, P.O. Boxes, and U.S. protectorate addresses is via the U.S. postal system. An additional $10 will be charged for Overnight shipments made to AK, HI, PR, and American Samoa.

Customs and Import Duties for Foreign orders:
Any customs or import duties that are levied on the ordered package, and/or customs declarations and regulations required once it reaches its final country of delivery are the sole responsibility of the recipient. We have no control over the application of the charges nor amount of the charges to be levied. Since customs policies vary widely from country to country, you may want to contact your local customs office for further information. Customs forms for all international packages list the value of your order's content by product type. If the order is a gift, the package is marked "Gift", but the cost of the items is still stated on the customs forms.

Policies

Returns & Refunds:
Satisfaction guaranteed or your money back. If you are not completely satisfied with your product for any reason, you may return it for a full refund of the purchase price (minus shipping and handling) or exchange it for something else.

Our return policy is simple. Within 30 days of receipt of your order, you may return:

1) Any unopened music CD, VHS tape, or DVD.
2) Any other unused merchandise item in new condition. (Washed or worn clothing will not be accepted for return).

Just call customer service and/or return your order in its original condition and with the invoice if possible. State if you would like a different size, different item, or a refund. We will refund the shipping charges if the order was our mistake or if the item was damaged.

Once we receive the package we will refund the amount on your credit card. If you paid by check or money order, we will mail you a refund within 7 days of the time we receive the merchandise back.

If you request an exchange, the new item will be shipped within 1-3 days of the time we receive the merchandise back.

Backordered items:
In the rare case of a backorder, we will hold your entire order if the back ordered items will be in stock shortly, otherwise, we will mail the in stock items immediately and send the back order item(s) as soon as they are in stock, at our postage expense.

Sales Tax:
Sales tax is only charged to customers living in Arizona. Sales tax is only applied to the subtotal of merchandise and The Inside back issues. You are never taxed on shipping and handling.

Confirming your order:
Your order will not be submitted until you have reviewed its accuracy, and finally click the button "Checkout". A confirmation page will then be presented to you along with an order number. We recommend that you write it down and keep it for future reference.

Checking the status of your order:
After the order is sent to our computer, we will ship it as soon as possible. If you're unsure whether we have your order, or simply want to track its progress, contact customer service and we will be happy to answer any questions.

Where can I get current information about the band?
Not by contacting our customer service! The Van Halen Store is only for taking orders, not for answering questions on the band. There are two good sources for info on Van Halen:

What does "Official" merchandise mean?
Official merchandise is merchandise that has been approved by the band. Van Halen receives royalties from all the official merchandise that we sell.

You have so many vintage collectibles! Are these items authentic original items, or reprints?
Almost everything we sell (Tourbooks, Tour shirts, old backstage passes, etc.) is original! The only items that are reprints in The Van Halen Store are the two new Whisky A Go-Go posters and the 5150 shirts - and even these three reprinted items are official Van Halen merchandise reprints. So when you see a Fair Warning Tourbook or a backstage pass, you know that these are 20-year-old authentic items!

Do you ever sell out of items?
Yes, often! Since almost everything we sell are original items, and are long since out of print, we have a very limited supply. Many items we sell were made as limited editions, and when they’re gone, they’re gone!

How long have you been in business?
We started selling Official Van Halen merchandise in the summer of 1994. Issue #1 of The Inside magazine was released in the Spring of 1995. We were one of the first companies to go online way back in 1995!

What are your T shirts made of? How do the sizes run?
All the shirts we sell are preshrunk, 100% cotton. The sizes run pretty typical. Size XL will fit most average-size adult males.
