She really knows her Van Halen, and there's a lot more about said about Van Halen than about losing weight. Each chapter is named after a Van Halen song ("Love Walks In", "Runnin' With The Devil", etc). It's truly an insightful behind-the-scenes look at Eddie and Valerie's marriage, and also Eddie's relationship with both David Lee Roth and Sammy Hagar. It really is a TELL-ALL about the "sex, drugs & rock 'n' roll"... and the weight!
Photos: 29 candid photos from Valerie's personal collection, including 5 of Valerie & Eddie on their wedding night, and 7 recent photos with Eddie and/or Wolfie. Great stuff!

Valerie Bertinelli, one of TV's most adored actresses, is revealing all about her battle with depression and weight gain and failed marriage to EDDIE VAN HALEN in her new tell-all book.
We all knew and loved Valerie Bertinelli as the girl next door cutie, Barbara Cooper, in the hit '70's sitcom "One Day at a Time." She later joined a far wilder world when she married rock guitar god Eddie Van Halen in 1981. The two met backstage after a Van Halen concert in Shreveport, LA. Their son, Wolfgang Van Halen, was born in 1991.
"Losing It" is Bertinelli's frank motivational story -- from her complicated family life to her struggles to maintain a healthy self-image while coping with celebrity, her tumultuous 20-year marriage to rock star Eddie Van Halen, and her difficulties with depression. She takes us behind the scenes in her acting career and marriage, recalling the stress and concerns of being a rock star's wife, the joys of motherhood, the challenges of divorce and becoming a single parent, her lifelong battle with weight, and her determination to let herself feel loved again. Through it all are surprising and sometimes shocking anecdotes of other celebrities she has known, as well as stories of her loyal family and friends who stood by her.
With courage and candor, humor and emotion, Bertinelli shares her fears and insecurities in ways that will appeal to the millions of people who face these same issues every day.
Bertinelli is currently a spokeswoman for the Jenny Craig weight loss program.
